Welcome to the Illawarra Daylight Chapter web site
On Saturday the 10th of November we held our Installation and as a consequence we have some new office bearers.
My name is Rosalie (Ros) Rayner, I was a foundation member of the Chapter and I now find myself Worthy Matron.
My mother Chapter is Hartford Chapter situated in Lithgow and until our Western District went dormant in 2000 I belonged to that District.
The three remaining Chapters are now under the direct supervision of the Grand Chapter of NSW & ACT.
I am enjoying being in the Illawarra District, it was something I missed very much, not belonging to a District.

I am looking forward, with Brother Paul Smith Worthy Patron and with all our wonderful members helping us,
to lead this Chapter forward to its 5th birthday in November 2008.

I have been Worthy Matron for Hartford Chapter in 1978/9 and again in 1993/4,
 Worthy Matron Forbes Jubilee Chapter (now dormant) in 1996/7 and
Worthy Matron of Bathurst Chapter in 2004/5 but I still get butterflies when I have to lead the Chapter.

I will do my best to provide interesting meetings to which you are invited to attend.
